Our story began when we first discovered the reward, fulfillment and need to serve others in transition in 1992. After 18 months of great success in serving dislocated workers with The Personnel Connection Training Center, Annie Niccum found herself laid-off as well -- with a four hour notice.
With amazing encouragement and support of others, such as David Barton from Employment Action Center, Gwen Jansen from Carver County Employment and Training, Banta ISG, Mark Dashner, Sue Vernland and last, but not and least -- and especially -- Judy Burdick, a training center which truly focused on the best in adult learning was born.
By design and specific purpose, we constantly look for ways to eliminate barriers in learning, make it more convenient, keep it easy and hassle-free and create a deeper sense of understanding and retention. Since that time, over 35,000 adults in transition and companies have been served in the great state of Minnesota and throughout the United States.
We have a special passion in serving others. We believe our partnership with the Dislocated Workers has allowed us to positively influence, inspire and believe in others during a difficult time. We have the special ability to naturally see and draw out long forgotten dreams, unrecognized skills and a dedication and warmth so sincere that anyone who walks through our doors can immediately feel the strength of our conviction in our abilities to create the most warm, personalized, flexible and effective adult learning experience possible.
We are proud to support our clients; Employment Action Center, Minnesota Workforce Centers, HIRED, Quality Career Services, Carver County Employment and Training, MinnesotaTeamsters Service Bureau and each of the programs we serve. It has been our distinct pleasure to be known for our knowledge, expertise in educating participants with options that will truly impact marketability and commitment to each person's livelihood. Our commitment is further evidenced by providing deeply discounted tuition to maximize budgets, along with tuition-free training for thousands of students over the years. We are a product of the dislocated worker program and truly believe in "one door closing and a big, beautiful picture window opening". We bring that hope to each person, each day.
